FINALLY got my check flight today. First time out in a C210 - a very nice ship indeed.
Plenty of grunt, speed and most importantly, arm room. The Cessna C172 I can give or take, but the C210 I'm happy to fly. It was just a short flight, down to a local strip called Emkaytee, where the top end ultralight club resides.

In the afternoon, I did my 'check to line' flight in another 210 down to Port Keats, a good introductory fight along a very flooded coastline. Port Keats isn't much to write home about, but if you ever get the chance, be sure to fly over it... I've got no photos, just the track, photos will come later, when I feel more confident about what I'm up to, and hence have time to think about taking them...
