28 Feb 2007 - Darwin day 1

Spent the day with Deb, a couple of last minute jobs then just taking it easy. Very sad departure, and trip. It's going to be a long time between catch-ups.
Touched down at 11:30 - light rain already falling, probably the remnants of an earlier storm.
Headed over to my accommodation at the Darwin Airport Inn, but didn't get alot of sleep, think I burnt my eyes out reading on the trip up. Rain getting progressively heavier... perhaps not the end of the storm... but I wasn't really paying much attention what I was heading into.
