21 April 2007 - Blog Housekeeping, etc

A few things to note, before I start on today's entry:

• The 'blogger' site is a helpful place for posting a blog - but I'm not sure it's the best. You may have noticed, for example that sometimes text does not align with the photos. I try my best to make it readable, but there are limitations....


• Similarly, the index that appears on the right is not easily sorted. I have not choice, if making several entry's on the one day, that they all appear under that same date - frustrating...

And there are other little things - hopefully not too frustrating to any (if any) readers. PS. I've changed a setting that will allow anybody to comment, you no longer have to 'subscribe' or anything - just feel free to comment.

Today, is Saturday, and I'm working again. I took a day off on Thursday in anticipation of working through the weekend - to get more flying done, so I don't mind being here. I've just done a quick flight to Vashon Head (Seven Spirit Bay) that involved chasing some buffalo off the strip. It's been a while since I was there, and it's a little drier, but still beautiful.

This afternoon, if the flying is quiet, I'll be doing all the paperwork that's building up. Logbook. Landing tables the boss has been after, etc, etc. I just don't get the time on the average weekday, so now's my chance.

This morning I took a pic (at left) of a little gecko that's been hanging around the house, sometimes in the lounge, other times the kitchen.

Deb and I are big gecko fans, and there are plenty about, but this ones particularly cute, and looks a little lonely, so with the absence of my dog, I just might have to adopt him... or perhaps just leave him to make himself at home.
